I think my ex wife wants alimony and I can't afford a lawyer now what happens?

Hi, I know in the state of Texas you don't have to pay alimony until you have been married 7 years. I am not sure what state you are from. As long as you don't have any children whith her. Your probably won't have to pay her anything. You will probably just have to split everything with her. I have never been divorced so that is just what I heard. Good Luck!
