I need help with what i am supposed to write a report on in world history this is the topic...?

What you have to write a report on is self-explanatory... a technological innovation which occurred between 1760 to 1940 in one of the industries listed. But since you can't figure out how to get started, do what everyone else does and visit www.wikipedia.com. Type in one of the industry names in the search box (use "firearms") and skim over the results looking for a year which falls within the required 1760 - 1940 timeframe (there's a "technological development" which occurred in 1818 you can write about - it's in the 4th paragraph under the "Handgun" listing).
