Is this era of basketball the toughest?

I mean yes 15-20 years ago they had great players including Jordan. But now, we have players like Kobe, Lebron, D Wade, Rose, Durant, and Blake Griffin who all could've shined back then(a drastic imagination). But agree or disagree? In current basketball, we have players who are completely different in size,play style, and marketing from back then.
