Atheists: If you cease to exist when you die, doesn't everything stop existing as far as you are concerned?

Really, if you stop existing, then nothing exists from your vantage point, nothing can be perceived, there is no thought, no memory, not even nothingness or void - simply the elimination of all that was known and perceived previously. If that is the case, then from your standpoint, when you die, the universe ceases to exist along with you. Isn't that true?
